Scar SPF Protect

Description

Micronized zinc oxide with dimethicone provides sheer, UVA/UVB SPF 45 sun protection to help prevent visible darkening of scar tissue and loss of elasticity. With medical-grade silicone to promote skin renewal, it helps to fade, soften, and smooth the texture of old scars, blemishes, burns, tattoos, and stretch marks.  Great for acne scars. Used post-procedure after initial healing, scars are hydrated and softened while potent antioxidants help soothe the area and prevent visible redness.  Allantoin attracts water content in cells, moisturizing and supporting healthy skin function.  Green tea polyphenol antioxidants help to calm, nourish, and protect the skin.  Water and sweat-resistant for 80 minutes.

Key ingredients:  micronized zinc oxide 15%, silicone, allantoin, and green tea polyphenols.

Free of cruelty, fragrance, parabens, and gluten, this formulation is hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.

Directions:  Apply directly onto healing wounds or healing acne scars in the morning and prior to going outside, once there is no drainage or tenderness.  Wait a few days to use after sutures are removed (if applicable).  Safe for the eyelid area (e.g., after blepharoplasty) by carefully applying a thin layer carefully only onto skin.  Massage onto the entire wound for 5-10 minutes twice daily for 3 months, to prevent the scar from thickening or developing pigmentation.  Use firm pressure with a circular motion, if the area is no longer tender.  Reapply Dynasty Scar SPF Protect every 2 hours with continuous UV exposure.  Best used in combination with Dynasty Scar Fade Gel, when wounds are covered or not exposed to sunlight.
