Skin Cancer Screening
As a fellowship-trained skin cancer surgeon, Dr. Joanna Chan is trained to recognize the early stages of skin cancer and pre-cancerous lesions. Dermoscopy and serial photography is used to monitor skin lesions. Using multiple modalities to field treat the areas of sun damage, her approach is one of prevention. During the appointment, you will be educated on how to perform a self-examination.
Sun Damage Treatment
Medical grade sunscreen is available for purchase at the office, and various over the counter options will also be discussed. We will discuss a personalized skin care regimen upon request, and behavioral changes that you can incorporate to reduce further damage.
