Why Morpheus 8?
As an in-office procedure performed by a physician, Morpheus 8 tightens the skin with minimal downtime and has less risk than surgery.
Before & Afters
Morpheus is color-blind, which means that it can provide benefit for all patients including patients with darker skin tones and all ethnicities of skin.
How does Morpheus work?
Morepheus uses micropins (microneedling) to create tiny puncture wounds in the dermis to stimulate collagen and elastin production, which results in the regeneration of the skin. .
Because the microneedling is delivered in a fractional manner, normal skin is undisturbed, which also reduces the healing time.
Morpheus will begin to work after your very first session and continues to work for weeks afterwards, as collagen is being stimulated. For maximal benefit a minimum of 3 tretments are performed at 4-6 week intervals. Maxima improvement is seen at 3 months.
Is Microneedling With Radiofrequency Painful?
Since a board-certified dermatologist will be providing your treatment, you can have access to Morpheu8 without the fear of intolerable discomfort. We can offer effective topical anesthetic cream and other MD-directed pain protocols that can be discussed during your consultation.
Please let us know if you have any anxiety regarding possible pain leading up to the procedure, so that we can adjust your protocol to include other advanced methods to minimize discomfort.
What to Expect After Treatment
Immediately after your treatment, your skin may appear pink with pinpoint marks which can diminish over 1-2 days after treatment. Visible results can be seen within weeks after your treatment; however, it is important to remember that your skin will continue to grow and develop new collagen for up to 3 months.
How many treatments will you need?
The number of treatments needed depends on each individuals’ skin quality and texture. Optimally, each treatment would be spaced about 4-6 weeks apart, and the best results can be achieved after 3 treatment sessions. Like all skin treatments, the maintenance schedule depends upon your level of ongoing sun exposure, age, activity level, and genetic factors.
What Kind Of Post Procedure Care Is Required?
Sun avoidance after the procedure is important, until the skin is no longer red. Avoid direct sun exposure and apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
