100% of patients surveyed reported immediate satisfaction following a Diamond Glow Treatment, nothing that they received a deep clean, feeling improved firmness of skin, with a more radiant appearance. Within 72 hours, continued improvements were seen including improved fine lines, reduced dryness and roughness, and increased overall radiance.
It is recommended to receive 1-2 treatments per month to see continued improvement and glowing results. Your provider will determine your personalized treatment plan. DiamondGlow® is a noninvasive treatment with minimal downtime, so you can return to your daily activities right after treatment.
Microneedling
Microneedling is a procedure performed to improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven tone, texture, wrinkles, acne scars, and pigmentation. As it is minimally invasive, patients arrive early for numbing cream prior to treatment. A special device with tiny needles create controlled micro channels in the skin. This action stimulates the pinpoint openings to recover by building collagen and elastin and using the body’s natural healing response.
Microneedling is performed in a clinical setting and under dermatologist supervision at Dynasty dermatology. Your skin type will be assessed prior to treatment to ensure you are a good candidate, and we will recommend you stop retinoids (prescription and over-the-counter) a week prior to your appointment. We utilize safe, effective, and state-of-the-art microneedling devices to optimize your results. Our experienced, gentle, and highly skilled specialists have extensive experience with these treatments and understand how the skin heals and responds to treatment. We will design a strategy involving microneedling and medical grade skin care specially customized to address your goals and concerns in a safe, comfortable and supportive environment.
PRFM (PRP with facial microneedling) or “Vampire Facial”
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy (see above with PRP for hair growth) helps to promote collagen by using the regenerative properties of your own blood. The platelet rich plasma contains abundant proteins and growth factors that is applied topically following microneedling and also injected into problem spots. A popular area for this fine injection is the delicate area under the eye, with the goal to reduce fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. Many opt to have PRP injected around the mouth to address fine lines, wrinkles, and unwanted texture or volume loss. Microneedling creates micro-channels in the skin, allowing the PRP to penetrate deeply and enhance its effectiveness. Your treatment will take place in a clean, safe, and clinical environment under the supervision of board-certified dermatologists. A series of treatments provide optimal results. Our compassionate and highly experienced staff will be able to offer superior services, and we offer compounded numbing cream prior to treatment to enhance your comfort.
PRP for hair growth
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses the regenerative properties of growth factors from your own blood to stimulate hair follicles and promote hair growth with a series of treatments. A small amount of blood is processed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, which are then injected into the scalp to target problematic areas. Dormant hair follicles are stimulated by the growth factors by promoting circulation and encourage previously dormant hair follicles to grow.
A series of sessions spaced several weeks apart is recommended to achieve optimal results. Combining PRP treatments with medication (over-the-counter, prescription, and prescription topical therapy) can optimize and preserve your results. We recommend a consultation with our hair experts to determine the cause of your hair loss and treat any underlying issues while undergoing PRP treatments. Our skilled specialists utilize state-of-the-art equipment, following strict protocols to ensure the highest quality and concentration of growth factors in the PRP. The “liquid gold” PRP is targeted to your specific concerns, and we are dedicated to providing you a safe and comfortable experience to help you achieve natural growth of hair over the long term.
Subcision
Subcision is a procedure performed under local anesthesia to break up scars that are tethering the skin, causing depressions such as rolling acne scars and traumatic scars that have left an undesired texture to the skin. Topical numbing is applied for an hour, then nerve blocks are administered. Each individual scar is then injected with local anesthetic to ensure comfort during the procedure.
During subcision, a small needle is inserted through a slit, and this needle contains a small blade to release the fibrous bands tethering the scar. By breaking up the scar tissue, the procedure stimulates collagen production. This can be combined with PRP or hyaluronic acid fillers to enhance results and promote tissue regeneration.
Lasers, peels, PRP / PRFM, or TCA cross can also be used concurrently or after subcision to treat other types of acne scars. A series of three subcision procedures, separated a month apart, is recommended for treatment of rolling and traumatic scars. Recovery is fairly quick and mostly dependent on the level of bruising following subcision. It is recommended to pre-medicate with arnica or bromelain and to avoid over the counter blood-thinning products to reduce bruising and swelling, which can last a few days.
Photodamage and Sunspot Reduction
For generalized damage, unwanted brown spots and growths caused by prolonged sun exposure, we follow a protocol to optimize results.
These lesions can be treated in the office with cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen) and electrodessication, which is recommended for lighter skin types or darker skin that has been pre-treated due to the risk of hyperpigmentation. It would be important to avoid peeling the spots off before they are ready to flake off (1-2 weeks), in addition to avoiding sunlight and reapplying sunscreen. Chemical peels (see above) can be very effective in removing sunspots.
InMode’s Lumecca device is a breakthrough, non-invasive intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment that delivers up to 3X more energy in the 500-600 nm range to improve efficacy for both vascular (red) and pigmented lesions with laser-like results. It is optimized for clinicians to treat a variety of lesions with fewer sessions for patients who want a more dramatic result. Different wavelengths can be offered to provide safe treatments for skin types ranging from the most fair to those whose skin tone has a medium level of darker pigmentation.
Lumecca treatment is highly effective in removing solar lentigines or age spots, and it can be performed on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, legs, and anywhere that is sun-exposed to restore a more even skin tone and brighter complexion. Although Lumecca is not effective for the treatment of melasma, it can be used in patients with well-controlled, stable melasma and who also suffer from brown spots cause by sun damage. The strength of Lumecca provided in a dermatology setting with fellowship-trained cosmetic dermatologists is its ability to provide more tolerable and better results after just a few treatments, compared to most other IPL “photo-facial” treatments in the typical medi-spa which can exceed 5 treatments or more. We recommend a pre-treatment and post-treatment skin care regimen to optimize your results, which we can be prescribed during the consultation, prior to scheduling treatment. Topical numbing for an hour is recommended for maximum comfort. We recommend avoiding sunlight for 1-2 weeks following treatment, wearing a hat, and reapplying barrier creams and sunscreen. The expected downtime is 5-10 days of flaking, as the new skin is revealed with improved texture, even tone, and clearer complexion.
The Lutronic™ Hollywood Spectra® Laser offers various settings to address a number of pigmentation concerns. Individual brown growths such as lentigines, pigmented seborrheic keratoses, and other epidermal lesions, which can be removed with the Q-switched Nd-YAG wavelengths. During this treatment, intense beams of light target the pigment and break down these cells, so that the body can clear them while they gently flake off. Despite being highly effective, this treatment requires no numbing and has minimal downtime aside from turning darker like coffee grounds and flaking off. This treatment can be performed on all skin types, including patients who have melasma or even the darkest skin.
Lutronic™ Hollywood Spectra® is the first US FDA-cleared device to treat melasma, and it stands as the world’s leading 1064/532nm laser platform to reduce pigmentation. For melasma, Spectra Laser Nanosecond Q-switched settings can allow the high-intensity beam to target an area that contains melanin without harming the tissue surrounding it. Not only can Spectra Laser Nanosecond Q-switched work for melasma, but it can also work on dark marks and skin blemishes such as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. With 6-8 sessions spaced 7-10 days apart, patients will see a noticeable reduction in pigmentation in the target area.
Spectra Laser Toning can also help to reduce pore size, treat uneven skin texture, and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The Spectra Carbon Laser Peel is a highly requested version of laser toning, as it is painless, requires no downtime, and it instantly brightens the skin to create an even skin tone for a glowing appearance, or the “red carpet look.” These laser toning treatments stimulate collagen to soften wrinkles and fine line, treat oily skin with active acne, remove blackheads, diminish enlarged pores, and improve uneven skin tone and texture.
The Spectra MDF fractional handpiece can resurface the skin while photo-acoustically shattering pigmentation irregularities. Fractional resurfacing treatment after 1 hour of topical numbing can offer results similar to a “mini CO2 treatment” by resurfacing acne scars, wrinkles, stretch marks, surgical scars, and enlarged pores, with less downtime, risk, and pain than traditional CO2 treatments. Swelling and redness is to be expected for a few days following treatment with the need to avoid sun exposure. Faster recovery can be achieved by using Epicutis masks and the Epicutis post-procedure set, available for purchase at Dynasty Dermatology.
The treatment time is approximately 30 minutes, and multiple sessions are required to produce effective and long-lasting results. The process and notice of change will also depend on the severity of your skin condition and how much improvement you wish to see. Pigmentation and acne typically take between 1-3 treatments, while Melasma typically takes between 6-10 treatments. The Hollywood Laser Peel can be performed as often as every four weeks for long-lasting skin rejuvenation.
Mole & Tattoo Removal
Laser removal of moles and tattoos of all colors utilizes a non-invasive procedure with the Lutronic Hollywood Spectra nano-acoustic laser. The number of treatments to remove a mole or tattoo depends on the size, location, depth and color of the mole or tattoo.
Laser treatments selectively target the ink used with specific wavelengths and are safer than other treatment options for removing a mole or a tattoo. Options such as surgical excision, dermabrasion (or sanding) and deep chemical peels can be painful and may often result in scarring. By emitting highly concentrated light energy that targets the tattoo ink pigments in the skin, the laser can specifically target certain colors, based on the wavelength of light energy chosen. The pigment or tattoo ink absorbs the laser energy, causing the pigment to shatter into tiny particles that are gradually eliminated by the body. Laser tattoo removal offers a safe and effective method to fade or remove tattoos of various colors, sizes, and depths.
Multiple treatment sessions spaced 4-8 weeks apart are required to achieve optimal results. The number of sessions will vary depending on the size, color, location, depth, density of ink, age of the tattoo, and factors such as the individual’s skin type and propensity for scarring. Spacing the treatment closer to 6-8 weeks apart allows your body to remove the maximum amount of tattoo pigment after each treatment. Treatment should be performed 4-8 weeks apart in order to allow your body to remove the maximum amount of tattoo pigment after each treatment. Each session takes about 15-30 minutes, so this can be achieved during the lunch hour. Arriving early can allow the area to be numbed topically prior to having lidocaine injections.
The laser is precisely directed at the tattoo, targeting the ink without damaging the surrounding skin. During the treatment, some patients may feel a slight sting, like the snap of a rubber band on the skin. Those who receive lidocaine injections should experience minimal discomfort during the lasering process.
Immediately following treatment, the skin will have a temporary white discoloration, and the surrounding area may become reddish with associated swelling. This is normal and will disappear slowly over time. Results take about 5-6 weeks after treatment. On occasion, a whitening of the skin may occur. However, normal skin tone should return within 6-12 months following your last treatment session.
We offer state-of-the-art technology to treat moles and tattoos of all colors, and on all skin types. Our dedicated team of highly skilled specialists provide exceptional care. With extensive experience in performing laser tattoo removal procedures, our providers understand the nature of tattoo ink properties, skin responses to laser treatments, and the proper endpoint for achieving optimal results with fewer side effects. Clear pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions will be provided. We are committed to ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the entire tattoo removal journey. We also offer interest-free financing through Cherry.
Patient Instructions: Before and After Laser & Light Procedures
Pre-treatment instructions for all IPL and laser treatments include arriving to the clinic with a clean face, without makeup, lotions, or any cosmetics. Avoid sun-exposure or tanning for 4 weeks prior to treatment, as tanned skin can shade blood vessels from the laser light, making treatment less effective and increasing the chance of discoloration. Avoid over-the-counter and prescription retinoids (e.g., tretinoin) for a week prior to treatments. High-risk patients such as those with melasma or significant history of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (brown spots appearing after trauma, bug bites or acne) should pre-treat with lightening creams such as compounded hydroquinone and kojic acid (available from the office), if not pregnant or breastfeeding, until the day of the procedure discourage melanocyte activation. Bring a broad-brimmed hat to your procedure.
Following the treatment, the laser treated area cannot be rubbed, scratched, or picked, or scarring can occur. The crusted areas must be allowed to fall off naturally, and we recommend hydration with medical grade Dynasty Luxe Antioxidant cream and Epicutis post-recovery kit (oil cleanser, lipid serum, and masks). Gentle cleansers must be used, with no rubbing or scrubbing the skin with a face cloth or sponge. Gently pat the area dry rather than rubbing with a towel. Avoid sun exposure and reapply sunscreen every two hours, even if driving or walking outdoors briefly. High-risk patients should continue to use hydroquinone or lightening creams immediately after treatment, including the evening of the treatment. For resurfacing procedures, avoid contact sports or excessive sweating during the one week healing period, while the treated area has reddish or purple discoloration. Avoid wearing pressure from tight clothing if treatment is on the body.
Cosmetic Mole Removal
Moles can be completely benign but unsightly to those who wish to have a cosmetic mole removal. These lesions can be removed through insurance if painful, itchy, growing, or irritated, but most moles require a cosmetic approach. Moles vary in size, shape, and color, and removing conspicuous moles can boost self-confidence and improve the appearance of many.
Dynasty dermatology offers the entire spectrum of treatment options which include shave removal, incisional biopsy, or surgical excision. All these are performed under local anesthesia and in the office. Sutures may be placed for the methods that are more likely to remove the mole permanently; however, a mole can be removed with a shave technique to leave a less obvious scar when performed expertly.
The mole is always tested to confirm that it is not cancerous, after which any residual pigment can be treated with a laser. The Spectra MDF handpiece can lighten nevi over time, as the laser beams target the pigment and help the spots to fade and disappear over time. This non-invasive method is preferred for smaller or more flat moles, or those in sensitive areas.
Our experience with all the above methods can give you options in a caring and supportive environment. Although there is 100% chance of a scar resulting from any removal, these fade with time to be less conspicuous than the original mole. We aim to minimize scarring and would only perform the procedure if the expected outcome improves your appearance.

In-office acne extractions are a simple an effective way to reduce the appearance of microcysts such as milia. We also offer Diamond Glow acne facials offering the gentle removal of non-inflamed acne lesions like blackheads and whiteheads. Through specialized tools, sebum and debris are gently extracted from pores, helping unclog them and prevent progression to more severe forms of acne.
During the procedure, thorough cleansing and preparation ensure hygiene, and sterile instruments are used to apply controlled pressure around pores for safe extraction. Incorporating steam and specialized serum facilitate the process. Microdermabrasion and microneedling are other options to help smooth the skin. Our experienced providers take special care to prevent harm, scarring, and rebound flaring of the skin or transient hyperpigmentation. Topical numbing is recommended for microneedling, which is offered individually or a package of treatments for optimal benefit. Following your facial and skin assessment, we will tailor a customized skin care regimen, offer an appointment for prescxription medications, and discuss lifestyle adjustments so that you can achieve the healthy and radiant skin that you want.
Cyst Drainage and Cyst Removal
Cyst are sacs that develop underneath the skin surface that can fill with skin breakdown products, become irritated and inflamed, or explode. Cyst drainage or aspiration is a medical procedure to relieve the contents of the cyst. However, the cyst may recur if the entire sac is not removed under local anesthesia excision. Cysts can occur due to the nature of the hair follicle, structure of the surrounding glands that become blocked, excessive friction, or hereditary factors. If a cyst grows rapidly, rubs on clothing, causes discomfort, or trigger other concerns, these procedures may be covered by medical insurance. Other less invasive options for treatment include a dilute cortisone injection, oral anti-inflammatory medication or antibiotics, and warm compresses. Complete excision is a 30-minute procedure requiring sutures and should be scheduled accordingly.
Skin Tag Removal (Scissor, Cryotherapy, and Electrodessication)
Medical cryotherapy is far more effective than store-bought wart freezing sprays, as our liquid nitrogen is much colder with a boiling point of about −196 °C. Cryotherapy, or cryosurgery, uses these freezing temperatures to create a local, targeted frostbite reaction to destroy abnormal tissue by inducing cell death, while preserving surrounding healthy tissues. Our experienced clinicians understand the art of applying this non-invasive approach in the proper way to effectively treat a variety of concerns such as skin tags, warts, seborrheic keratoses, pre-cancerous actinic keratoses, and other annoying growths.
Cryotherapy is particularly effective for treating superficial, smaller, and well-defined lesions, as the recovery period is often 1-2 weeks for facial lesions, and 2-4 weeks off the face. The temporary cold sensations and mild discomfort are brief and subside quickly. A blister or crusted area will likely form, and these will shed off once the healing skin underneath surfaces. Not picking these healing blisters or crusted areas is essential for proper healing, as it avoiding sun exposure on these spots, as post-inflammatory pigmentation, infection, or scarring can occur. Multiple sessions might be required, depending on the size of the lesion, and treating the area sooner rather than later allows for more effective resolution. Depending on the symptoms of the lesion, this is a procedure that may be covered by insurance.
Skin tags can be removed cosmetically with scissor removal, after the area is cleansed and prepared under sterile conditions, with or without lidocaine and using chemical or electrical cautery to stop any bleeding. Electrodessciation, or electrocautery, is an effective tool using a low setting of a high-frequency of electrical current to treat various benign skin conditions such as sebaceous hyperplasia (dilated oil glands), dark black spots such as dermatosis papulosa nigra (DPN), seborrheic keratoses, syringomas, hemagniomas or red vascular lesions, and other growths. Electrodessication can precisely pinpoint the lesion and not hurt surrounding, healthy skin, resulting minimal pain, downtime, and scarring. Strict sunlight avoidance and not picking the healing wound is necessary, as described above, following cryotherapy or chemical peels.
The treated area is numbed with local anesthesia if a large or sensitive area will be treated. Then, it is cleansed and the electrode is carefully applied to the targeted area to destroy the lesion. Depending on the number of lesions treated, there can be some social downtime, but these lesions can be covered with makeup or concealer. This procedure will not effectively treat moles.
Cortisone shots
Inflamed acne “zits,” pustules and cysts can be treated effectively with a dilute steroid, with resolution often within hours. These treatments can be useful prior to a celebration (gala, wedding, prom), or an important audition or meeting. Cortisone shots can also be used to treat painful or itchy hypertrophic scars or keloids. We will often mix the cortisone with other medications to reduce the possible complication of atrophy or “dents” in the skin surface. These depressions occur infrequently and almost always resolve over time. Areas of focal hair loss, due to alopecia areata, or inflammatory hair loss due to frontal fibrosing alopecia and discoid alopecia, can be treated with monthly, dilute steroid injections to prevent spread. Treating this condition rapidly avoids “burnout” of the follicles, which can lead to permanent hair loss and scarring. Cysts and sinus tracts from hidradenitis suppurativa or inflamed scalp lesions from folliculitis decalvans or dissecting cellulitis can also be treated rapidly with injections. Individual psoriasis lesions or nail psoriasis can be treated with steroid shots also.
Intramuscular injections in the buttock, thigh, or arm, are also a common way to treat intense conditions quickly, such as rapid and diffuse hair loss, or full-body rash due to eczema, psoriasis, or allergic reactions, as corticosteroids reduce inflammation and alleviate associated symptoms by toning down immune responses. As these shots distribute corticosteroids throughout the body by being release slowly from the muscle, large areas can be treated effectively for 1-3 months, with far fewer side effects than taking oral steroids, which are notorious for having a rebound effect. Patients who suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes, insulin resistance, severe osteoporosis, or active infections should avoid having cortisone shots.
Hair Loss Services
Dynasty Dermatology offers medical grade vitamins, compounded minoxidil, oral prescription medications, injections, and PRP for the scalp in order to stimulate hair. We will also identify any medically treatable sources of hairloss and evaluate your diet and lifestyle to determine if these factors are contributing to your hair loss.

Phototherapy Services
Dynasty Dermatology offers phototherapy to treat many inflammatory conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, and mycosis fungoides, or cutaneous T cell lymphoma. This therapy offers controlled exposure of the light to the skin to help reduce inflammation, modulate immune responses, and promote skin healing. Unlike natural sunlight, narrowband UVB therapy offers focused UV exposure in a medically supervised setting to minimize risks. Regular sessions with continual evaluation of skin response helps to mitigate side effects and to monitor the treatment course and your improvement. A few sessions are needed for others, while some conditions may require 20-30 sessions, scheduled 2-3 times a week. You may experience mild post-treatment redness, tenderness, occasional scabbing and rarely blistering, which are temporary and treatable, and therefore worth the therapeutic benefits for widespread skin conditions.
Acne Scar Reduction
Although preventing acne scars with early intervention is ideal, many people suffer from acne scars which are worsened by picking, sun exposure, and severe inflammatory and cystic acne. Reducing the appearance of acne scars can be a very frustrating, time-consuming, painful and expensive process. However, the benefits of gaining a healthier self-image and much improved confidence can far outweigh the costs of acne scar treatments.
Most treatments can be categorized as topical (medical grade skin care products and prescription medications), oral (anti-inflammatory, antibiotics, hormonal, and Accutane® (Isotretinoin), or procedural (aesthetician microdermabrasion and Diamond Glow facials, pigmentary improvements with peels, intense pulse light with Lumecca, and textural improvements with a series of microneedling, Morpheus RF microneedling, resurfacing with Hollywood Spectra, TCA cross to heal ice pick scars, CellSound ultrasound collagen remodeling), and procedural such as punch elevation, subcision to release rolling scars, or excision of acne cysts, or scar revision for extensive scarring.
An evaluation in person is the best way to assess which the type and severity of scars with expertise in a setting expertise with compassionate care with individualized attention to create customized treatment plan that reflect your unique needs, keeping in mind budget, pain tolerance, schedule for downtime, and the time frame for desired improvement (e.g., wedding date, milestone celebration, etc.).
Skin Care & Prescription Medications
Our board-certified dermatologists and experienced aesthetic colleagues are well-versed in the array of skin care and prescription medications that can help reverse active acne, maintain your results following procedures, and reverse acne scars with prescription tretinoin, compounded lightening creams, and barrier creams to promote tolerability. Addressing hormones with spironolactone and topical prescription formulations can certain help cyclic scarring acne, which tends to affect the jawline.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels can address a variety of concerns including blemishes, scaly skin, blotchy skin, pigmentation, wrinkles, and acne scars. We offer gentle peels with minimal downtime to medium depth chemical peels that can effectively treat pre-cancerous skin and wrinkles especially around the lips or eyelid area.
By expertly applying a chemical solution and occasionally layering different mixtures, this procedure gently removes the outermost layers of the skin and exfoliate the unwanted skin. Following the peel, the new skin is more youthful, smoother, and with fewer wrinkles and blemishes. revealing a smoother, more youthful complexion. Sun damage can be slowly erased with a series of peels, which are a comfortable and simple process with our protocol. More intense medium depth peels can require 7-10 days of dry skin with peak changes during days 3-6. As this new skin is revealed, it is important to protect it from the sun by wearing a hat and reapplying sunscreen. You are welcome to use makeup to mask the appearance as you recover.
Chemical peels for acne scars range can be performed to target depth ranging from superficial and medium to full thickness with 100% TCA (see TCA CROSS). Superficial and gentle peels such as glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and Jessner peels can benefit those struggling with mild to moderate acne scars or the pigmentation effects from the scars. These superfical peel procedure require less downtime with minimal peeling and flaking but can promote effective exfoliation. Promoting rapid skin turnover leads to a faster removal of brown spots and improves uneven skin texture by keeping pores clean and reducing the appearance of blackheads. A series of treatments (5 or more) may be needed to achieve the desired results.
More severe scarring would benefit from a TCA peel which promotes more skin peeling (e.g., molting like a snake) and crusting with coffee-grains like darkening of brown spots. People who undergoing a TCA peel may have social downtime and want to recover from home due to significant scaling and need to avoid sun exposure, in order to allow the skin to heal. These results tend to be more dramatic, and TCA can be combined with Jessner and other variations to achieve medium depth peeling with less risk and downtime. Fewer treatments may be needed, with more visible improvement after just one treatment.
Our advanced providers have the expertise to gauge tissue reaction during treatments, and we customize the formulation and treatments suitable for your skin. Your peel is very controlled and assessed each visit, so that you can have optimal results. We do recommend stopping retinoids (prescription and over-the-counter) a week prior to treatment to avoid excess sensitivity. A clear post-treatment plan will be offered to minimize any discomfort following the procedure.
TCA Cross for scars
Highly effective and minimally invasive, TCA CROSS (Chemical Reconstruction of Skin Scars) is a precise, controlled, and specialized technique used to target ice-pick and atrophic acne scars involves targeted application of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) to the individual scar indentations or “pits.” 100% TCA stimulates collagen production by creating a micro wound, thereby helping promote skin remodeling, resulting in improved texture and reduced appearance of the scars. By targeting the scar and not surrounding skin, the indentations heal and elevate to a more similar level as the healthy skin.
TCA CROSS can improve the appearance of deep and stubborn scars and can be used alone or in combination with other scar revision techniques such subcision, medium depth peels, laser resurfacing, and IPL. The procedure is generally well-tolerated and has a relatively short recovery time, with minimal discomfort and downtime. The main risk of the procedure is post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and scarring if the healing wound is picked or scratched off, before it is ready to fall off on its own.
At Dynasty Dermatology, we provide the optimal experience by explaining our pre-treatment and post-treatment protocols to achieve the best results with the least amount of risk. A single spot or test treatment can also be offered for those who want to evaluate the healing process before committing to treating a widespread area. By using high-quality TCA solutions to ensure optimal penetration and stimulation of collagen production, we customize the treatment for each individual’s timeline and goals. Our goal is to help you to regain confidence in your skin.
